The Norwegian company, Think Global, is making an all-electric town car that they plan on bringing to the United States in 2009. The car makes the Think City, which is a modified version of an all-electric car originally developed by Ford Motors. It has the capability to reach a top speed of 65 miles per hour and 110 miles on a single charge. Obviously, the modified vehicle is targeted towards those living in urban area or just need the car for small runs here and there.
Think started shipping the vehicles in Norway last year and will be exported them to France, Switzerland and other Scandinavian countries this year.
Since the car is expected to compete with other standard economy cars, expect a price of $35,000 or less.
