No need to worry about running out of battery juice while using your laptop. The design firm called Nikoladesign, has come up with a concept that could solve that problem.
The laptop design would come with a detachable extra flap to act as a solar panel to convert light to power using a powerful battery. Equipped with internet access, satellite telephone and satellite link GPS would not only make you power independently but make it a universal tool for you to travel just about anywhere and communicate or exchange information from just about any location on the planet.

Since, for at least the foreseeable future, this could only be used to recharge the laptop’s batteries, it would make much more sense simply to put the panels on the back of the screen, so that they could charge the batteries while the laptop was sleeping.
Better yet, make a laptop bag with the new breed of flexible solar panels on it, so that you’re not tried to a single make of laptop.
Better yet, go down to the shops where you can already get one of those…
Awesome! I would def buy one.
I think that could be a good tools for technician from under developed countries in need of a flexible way to communicate. When do you think it will be on the market?
