MPK, a US company who specializes in glow-in-the-dark materials, has invented a new substance very similar to paint. Without the need for electricity or sunlight, the new type of paint based on Lightroenergy, emits a soft fluorescence type glow that can last for over 12 years.
The powerful illumination comes from litrospheres, which are very small self-luminous particles capable of producing brightness comparable with a 20W bulb.
The substance is extremely cost-effective at 35 cents for 8.5 x 11 inches of surface and are customizable to spread different light colors.
