From the Philippines, a new compact electric car has been introduced into the market called the Eagle G-car. Inspired after the eagle in the country’s flag, this blue and yellow design can reach a maximum speed of 60 km/h (35 mph) and a top range of 80 km (50 miles) per charge.

Charging the battery is fairly cheap and said to be approximately .95 cents which should take about 4-8 hours to charge.

The announcement was in Tagalog on GMA, a TV station in Philippines, so we’re unsure of the exact features included except that it retails from $3,300 to $6,600 USD (140,000 to 280,000 pesos) and is made of fiber glass.
