Balancing Act with Uno

What to think about this bike? Hrmm…

The latest form of green transportation, this dangerous looking motorbike is called the electric Uno and was created by Ben Bulak, an 18-year old Canadian.

After a trip to China and seeing all the smog there, Ben was inspired to built this ‘eco-friendly’ bike. He spent several years developing the electric Uno, which is controlled entriely by body movements. The bike has two wheels, side-by-side and uses gyroscopic technology to stay upright. It moves in the direction as the rider leans. The more you lean, the faster you go.

Ben claims the electric Uno could help minimize pollution. He says that “The bike is fairly easy to ride, but takes a bit of getting used to because you have to learn to trust it”.

The top speed of his current prototype is 25 mph but could be increased with a larger motor.

The electric Uno weights 58kg and has a range of 2.5 hours. Ben is currently seeking investors to aid him in the full production of the bike.
